We did it.

Above, Pink Buddha celebrates by doing the Anchovy Dance.

That’s right, we did it. The As Above, So Below campaign funded at $5801, thanks to three angels stepping up and tipping the scales.

I’ve learned a great deal about myself, getting out of my own way, and out of my comfort zone. I’ve also learned some invaluable insights about how even my are is not all about me, me, me. Rather, it is about how your life may be enriched by having a relationship with the work and then perhaps with the me, the artist.

Because the initial goal was attained, I’ve been granted an extra 30 days to reach what is called my “stretch goal.” This is actually the full budget of the campaign based on being able to engage enough donors to reap the entire inventory of perks or thank you gifts. The campaign is taking donations until November 8, 2017.

Pretty cool.

I’m still in awe of the support I didn’t know I had. And my gratitude runs deep.

Now, it’s on to what I think is the fun part. Production for the perks and production for the actual art project itself. I’m looking forward to sending out the perks, it reminds me of Xmas.

I’ve also sent in my application for the stARTup art fair and suppose I’ll be hearing back some time in mid to late November. It’s curated, so there may be a possibility that I don’t get in to the L.A. show. We’ll see.

Meanwhile, I’ve been working on laying out the ground work for a new series, completed two more “mudras” and started the text for a graphic novel about cats.

There is still time to grab some really fun perks. Here’s the link: www.hatchfund.org/project/as_above_so_below
